How to configure/ reconfigure SmartArray RAID Controller
How to configure/ reconfigure the Internal RAID card on an HP-RX6600 Server with HP-UX
Here is an example, screenshot where I reconfigured a mirrored disk set.
There are totally 8 disks in the server and each 2 disks are mirrored.
The Logical drive number-2 has been deleted to get 2 free disks.
Note:
Check on OS side which disks are assigned to whatever volumes and double check if there is no DATA on the disks before performing this delete operation.
